Rainbow Collection: Love of Siam

I spent a few hours downloading the movie and a few more viewing it from my small mac screen but it was well worth it. I am glad that I have finally decided to give in to peer pressure and watch it.

Bittersweet is the best word to describe this film. Again, I did not find my happy ending but what the heck, the movie made me smile. It made me giggle. I was in love even for a couple of hours.

Love of Siam is a discovery. I had been in several of the places featured in the film and it showed me Bangkok in a way that I had only imagined it to be. Too bad I could not understand what they were saying - I could imagine it would be a lot sweeter than the English subs that I was forced to swallow. I smiled in some scenes and I remembered that one moment when I met a gorgeous Thai guy at a local bar in the city - we could not understand each other so we just kissed! Ahh, the magic of human connections, language barriers and all. Anyway, going back to the movie, what broke my heart (again) was when Tong said, "I cant be your boyfriend but it does not mean that I dont love you..." Flashbacks.

Love of Siam is a perfect ending to an otherwise dull and uneventful weekend. It made me hope that sooner or later, the right one would come along and that my own Tong-Mew love story (the happier version of course when they actually end up being together) would soon be realized. A definite must-see for all people whose hope for love springs eternal and whose lives need a little love perk up.

P.S. I am no pedophile but seeing those two gorgeous teenagers kiss gave me one great hard on. Oh well.

This was a very nice movie indeed. Sad ending but defintely something I wouldn't mind to watch again if only to fall in love then be broken hearted all over again. hehehe I enjoyed it so much!

Now, forgive me but I just have to ask. I've noticed that most of those who watched this movie were into Tong. However, I find myself gravitating more towards Mew. So, question. Who did you like more? Tong or Mew? :)

Tong vs Mew - a very difficult choice indeed. Kinikilig pa din ako up to now. Both of them are equally gorgeous but if I had to make a choice, I'd go for Tong. I've had my share of Mews in the past and after some time I got bored with drama.

I hope to find my Tong, bring him home and never leave the house!

hahaha You naughty you. lol I'm not that young but I'nm relatively young when it comes to this. I never had a Tong or Mew in my life yet. I guess, before going after a Tong, I want a Mew singing and dedicating a song for me first. :)

There you go. There's my answer on why I'm the only one more attracted to Mew than Tong. :)

I guess, us newbies, we are still "kilig" over those crazy juvenile love thingies. The song, the love notes. Oh, well, I am sure I will get over them too someday. lol

I'm still into the LOS syndrome! The Yuletide season is near and I could still reminisce those touching scenes in the movie! I could not forget the movie no matter how they feed me with amnesia capsules! Yan ang effect!
