I Was Right, I Was Wrong

It was already thirty past four when I finished my usual work out routine at the local gym. Of course, I had to hit the showers. I was also excited to use the gym's steam room which had been out of service for more than a week. I have actually made this as an excuse not to go to the gym a couple of times that week. I had a long and warm shower in one of the cubes. I dried myself up, wrapped a towel around my waist and proceeded to the steam room. 

It was unusually hot inside the room and steam was everywhere (duh). There were a couple of guys wrapped in their towels inside. One was seated beside me, the other (let's call him Doc since he looked like one) sat directly across from where I was. Amidst the thick cloud of steam, I could sense Doc was looking at me - I do not know if this was out of utter disgust or he just needed to focus his attention on something quite extraordinary that day. Later, I realized that Doc was flirting with me. I combed my long and curly hair and smiled. I wanted to flirt with him some more but I could already feel the steam warming my body beyond what I could tolerate and so I had to step out of the room. I took a cold shower and went to the nearest fountain.

I saw Doc leave the steam room a few minutes later and he was still looking at me as I drank from the fountain. I took a long look at Doc and I noticed that he knew how to take care of his body since he actually looked good for his age - probably 35-ish. Doc proceeded to the sauna. I did not know that the sauna had also been fixed but I still found myself walking towards it. Inside, I saw Doc sitting in one corner. He smiled at me as I entered the room. In panic, I stupidly commented, "gawa na pala to?" (oh so this has already been fixed?). I took the seat just across Doc. This time, it was already obvious what game he wanted to play and so I played along. I was right. 

A few minutes into the game, Gym Rat (GR) entered the sauna. He was the typical buffed guy in the gym - I have seen him around several times pumping his muscles by the free weights area. Seriously, I never took Gym Rat as one of us but upon closer inspection in the sauna, I realized that my first impression of him was wrong. The heat in the room was nothing compared to the intensity of Gym Rat's gazes. I saw Doc look at me as if trying to ask if GR was one of us. I turned my gaydar on and responded with a nod. GR knew what we had in mind and that was when all towels fell off. I was right.

Doc left the room when Chinese Dude (CD) entered the sauna. GR also stepped out for a drink. At this point, I realized that it was rude if I also left, so I remained seated. CD sat in front of me, his towel barely hiding the jewels. What did I do right to deserve this, I asked myself.  CD smiled at me and his towel fell off. I was right.

Doc and GR re-entered the room - all four of us were now seated in one corner of the sauna. Doc, GR and CD were silently figuring out what the available options were. I, of course, was the only one who knew their secrets. Honestly, I was not prepared for a situation like this - four guys inside the sauna ready for some action. I knew I had to do to something for everyone's sake - I smiled at Doc, nodded at GR and approached CD and that was when the party started. I was right, I deserved this.

Doc was the happiest dude in the room or so I thought until I saw GR stand up and approach CD. Doc and I were already done with the deed so we decided to just sit back, relax and enjoy the show. I secretly smiled as I watched CD perform behind GR. It was pure animal passion that I saw. I cringed. I only see these things in the movies, I said to myself. I smiled some more.

As I took a shower, I thanked the heavens for conspiring for my happiness that day. I have never found myself in a situation such as what had happened that day - I actually convinced myself that my luck had finally changed. I left the gym with a smile on my face knowing fully well that I was wrong - I was not the most slutty person in the gym, it was GR.
