"Hey, I'm back in Bora...", I texted you."Uy... san ka hotel this time?", you replied."Ahh sa may _______...""Sige, punta ko bukas... mga 10 ha...", you replied."Shit, back to back to back ito...", I panicked."Uhm... mga 11 ok lang?", I replied."Sure... see you at 11 sa beachfront na lang..."
Chris is one of my regulars in Bora. He's 5'7, lean gym fit and he's a front desk officer in one of the more expensive hotels on the island along Station 2. We met online and we decided to give it a go when I went on a business trip last year. We have seen each other several times after the first meet up.
He rarely tells his story. But last November, he started telling me bits and pieces of his life. That he's planning to abroad to work. That he's from one of the more prominent families in Iloilo. That he's having difficulty finding a good guy to be in a relationship with. He mentioned this again when I met him up.
"Tol, dito na ko sa labas...""Ah sige, nasa labas din lang ako...""Will wait for you. Brown shorts.""Yun lang?""Yeah..."
I giggled. I saw him smoking just outside my hotel. He was indeed just wearing a brown boardshort. It was really good to see him again. He gave me a pat on the back.
"Looking good pare...""Ulol...", I smiled.
It was more of the same thing. He was still good in bed. After taking a quick shower he asked for cigarette.
"Menthol, ok lang?""Sure... no prob naubos na yosi ko eh."
In between puffs, he updated me on his life.
"Paalis na ko in a couple of months..."
"Ah really?", I asked.
"Yeah, Canada..."
"Oh okay yun ah..."
"Ako din eh...", I continued.
"Kelan?"
"Soon... very soon."
"Naku, it's the last time pala that we'll see each other..."
I smiled. I felt a little sad, I must admit.
"Sulitin na natin?", you suggested.
I laughed.
"Sure... basta ikaw."

1 stamps:
